Not much doing right now in the game, i've unlocked Barbara, unlocked Jesus, done the challenge, pretty much only got Jingle Joe to concentrate on right now and collecting the next set of stockings for puppy Brian. Those stockings are a nightmare though, bombs away on the shoppers, the drop rate for the stockings must be proper low cuz i'm not getting many at all. Just a good job i bought the christmas wrapping building to help with the drops a bit. Just got to keep at it until the next update. I do have several tasks of the questlines that i need to catch up on, but the characters that have those tasks, well, they are tied up attacking the Yeti (and will continue to do so until not needed to)

I mentioned that on page 9. If I have more than 3 left I'll cleare John and reset his task, if not i'll leave for the four hour respawn period. And I usually finish off the yeti with Louis so I can send her on her stocking task during the four hour wait. The hardest thing for me is not to tap the checkmarks above the yeti, every time I look I see a checkmark and I want to tap it. So I usually have John's and Mort on task for the four hour period. I just got Jesus and he's only got one task available, i'll have Joe soon. Technically he has two his 8hr Slip n Slide and Battle the Yeti but he will level up to level 2 quickly I know I already had Jesus and Joe battling #3, and I have Jesus, Mort, Lois and John prime for #4 to start.(Joe cleared number three so he's waiting to start #4) |

I decided to spend my snowflakes on the boxes too. I'm pretty sure that I will get Baby Brian (oh and he is so cute, I'm really looking forward to get him) before the event ends. I have 18 wrapping papers so I can say optimistic: I'm half way there already. Babs Pewterschmidt also won't be a problem. I got everything of the boxes so I could get her instantly. But it doesn't look so well for Jesus. I really want him but I don't see me getting enough snowflakes. I have 18 now and there's not much time left.  I even don't know what would be a clever way to invest some helpful clams. I suppose it would be to buy Bruce Willis for 200 clams ...I don't wanna do that but I want Jesus. Catch-22  |

Catch-22 JM -200 helps get Jesus. Jesus gets 0-? Clams (I think it's a24hr task), so if you get just 1 clam a day you'll get it back in @200 days. |

Thank you for your replies. It's more an "I don't want John McClane" thing than that I'm to cheap for the clams. I am, but that's not the reason.  If I got a chance to buy Jesus directly, I would prefer to do that. But I only have the choice to buy that snow cone stand or John for 200 clams each. Or there are some weird possibilities like spending clams on the yeti or to speed up Lois and Mort. It would be the best choice to get John. The more I wait the less profitable the purchase would be. I think I'll wait until tomorrow's update and then I'll make decision and stop complaining.  I may have finished Jingle Joe until tomorrow. I'm just missing 4 more shovels. Did you recognize that we get so many clams by dropping of the secret santa gifts? I got 25! yesterday at Ollie's and 15 today. |

The update that was launched late last night in the UK on Android now allows you to 'tap' the shoppers, much like we could with minion stewie in ComicCon, this will make it easier to hit more of them but that isn't the problem, it is the drop rate of the wrappings that is the problem, on average, I'm getting probably 3-4 for every 30 shoppers bombed. Not sure what else the update brought to us though

Is top hat yeti defeatable with 3 characters? It should be possible based on full points deducted form the Yeti after an attack Lois: 1-2 damage Mort: 1-2 damage Jesus: 2-3 damage (or John McClane, whichever you have) First 4hr attack, based on maximum possible damage is 7 bars - total bars left (17) Second 4hr attack, based on maximum damage possible is 7 bars - total bars left (10) Third 4hr attack, based on maximum damage possible is 7 bars - total bars left (3) Fourth 4hr attack, based on maximum damage possible is 7 bars - If Jesus or John pays out the maximum damage, you can still have two characters continuing the attack even though the yeti is asleep for 4hrs. It sounds complicated, but it's not really. Just be sure to try and leave a character still attacking the yeti afterwards. It really does help when the next attack starts and yo try to continue the streak I pretty much have everything offered in the game so far (christmas gifts not included as i have no neighbours as i won't connect it to my Facebook - and i'm not going through the hassle of setting up another one etc), i am currently 11 christmas wrapping stockings away from puppy Brian yet, even with the ability to tap the shoppers, they still have a very poor drop rate for them.
