TinyCo have just updated their Twitter feed with the following statement
"As long as you start unlocking them, the Smith family will be around AFTER the American Dad event ends so you can keep working on them!"
Good news for those struggling to unlock the characters

One more muffin and I finally have Francine. Took forever since Lois and Bonnie wanted to drop like 1 day on 4 attempts.

One more muffin and I finally have Francine. Took forever since Lois and Bonnie wanted to drop like 1 day on 4 attempts. I gave up and just bought 4 of those magazine thingies to unlock her. Getting too close to the end of the AD event and i really want Rodger in my game. I will admit i've bought a lot of the premium content for this one to help with unlocking characters. Don't mind, some of the items were ones i missed out on in the last couple of events. Muffin stall looks oversized and out of place but i quite like it, and it helped with the muffins for Francine  |

Yea re reading the files i think you actually just need You are being watched finished to start week 4 but you might also need francine judging from the popup earlier in the event

just incase anyone is wondering... i have completed all of the Smiths tasks and still no Roger, he us still locked. This is the current pop up screen im getting (I am on android)  |

Quite excited to see exactly what they will do for Roger, will he be a tricky one like Francine was, or will he turn out to be like Freddie, who we thought was going to be either for clams or a real tough unlock at the end of the event... can't wait, game just doesn't feel right without Roger And why no Jeff, TinyCo? Jeff is cool, married to Hayley, is such a funny character in the cartoon, we need Jeff! |

Ouch, the new content is about 500-600 clams worth of stuff, with the not so good stuff being for in game cash...
