In case anyone didn't notice there was new plots of Land added to the left hand corner next to district however it is unusable atm but it will come into play later.
Here is where the new land was added

I hope they open up that plot of land soon, and more, this is the only bit of land I have left as I'm not going to get much on there with the weird sizes TinyCo keep making their buildings

I think it has somehting to do with stability of the game as to why they are gradually releasing land district by district with the odd extra plot of land added too. Personally at this moment in time, in my opinion, they really need to look at how they are doing things, i love back to back events and keeping busy, million times better playing than TSTO who kept us waiting for ages between events with crap promo stuff, but there are now much more items than available land in FGQFS, and people are getting frustrated. I can't see any harm in them opening up a strip of land where the event point is to increase the top of the town's space. I know District 10 is on the way, but it won't be anywhere near enough because we know there will be buildings that come with that.

This is a glitch and is fixed, and I doubt you'll ever have land there as you cannot even place on all the land

My theory is that they're going to wait until the land situation reaches absolute critical mass, then they'll reveal that the blimp / time machine unlocks a kind of Krustyland-type expansion where we can dump all of our old event stuff as we continue to accumulate more.

** NEW UPDATE **

TinyCo have just released a post on Twitter stating that on December 4th, NEW LAND will be released. As of yet there is no further information, but i'm sure we will find out more soon - I am just hoping that it will not just be District 10 (a stupid square patch of land that will fill up with District 10 items really quickly)

This for me, is good news as i'm out of land, and fed up messaging TinyCo to tell them all i have left is a 12x8 patch of land that i can't get anything in

Just did the same thing a few weeks ago. Literally every square inch covered, some buildings behind others because I don't have room anymore.

Lets just hope it's not a square patch along with District 10. Need at least two strips of land at the top of the town to be opened to expand properly

That is possible, i'd prefer the top where the event area is usually opened, mainly because there is plenty space up there for a big expansion of land, and if TinyCo were really clever, they could just leave the square in place where the events are opened, it could be a nice uneditable feature, like a central park of Quahog that opens up for every event. I'd certainly love to design my town around that kind of thing. Just my thoughts there though
