So i don't know if people have heard but ghostbusters is supposedly getting a reboot, I love everything ghostbusters and I'm wondering if people are excited.

It's been in the news a lot over the last few days, apparently, with an all female cast. This hasn't gone down well with the Ghostbusters fans at all, male and female alike. But, the director of the new Ghostbusters film is famous for his chick flicks so i guess it's RIP Ghostbusters that we all knew and loved (i'm pretty angry about this proposed change to the franchise). A couple of female members to the franchise woudl have been great (Emma Stone for sure woud fit the role nicely).
A reboot/remake = rubbish.
Ernie Hudson (Winston Zeddemore) was at least honest and said it's a bad idea.
Why do you guys and girls think?
We had this discussion at my workplace and the decision was quite un-surpising, 70% of our staff wanted the franchise to stay true to it's origins with 4 guys in the roles of the ghostbusters, 10% saying it shoudl be 2 girls, 2 guys, and only 20% said that they would want an all girl cast. I know what your gonna say, the girls saying it's a great idea, well, here's the shocker, the 20% who liked the idea, all men! The girls hated the idea, with only one female colleague saying the mixed cast would be best.
These comments may be controversial, but not intended to be, more of a discussion, and particularly because of the little poll i did at work
I hate the idea of an all girl cast and a reboot/remake
And besides, Ghostbusters 3 was actually a computer game (no really, Ghostbusters 3 became the official video game), so this would either be Ghostbusters 4, or my favourite title, Ghostbusters - Goin' out of business because the director is just plain stupid
Man i'm in a bad mood now thinking about it

Well in Britain I haven't noticed much there's a bit on ign about it and I think one or two women would be cool but not all four.
