My first was in plain site, second was behind a decoration, but saw the sparkles.

My first was in plain site, second was behind a decoration, but saw the sparkles. Mine was opposite; first hidden but could see sparkles, second in plain sight on the road/path.

I read this elsewhere: "Hi, This is from TinyCo Support: How do I get candy? One candy per day will appear in your Quahog - and there will only be one candy in your Quahog at a time. Candy resets at noon PDT. We call this Candy O'Clock. If a Candy is available, it will appear randomly in your Quahog after you collect rent from any building. If you don't collect the candy within 12 hours, it disappears forever, uneaten and unsatisfied. I hope this helps, FamilyGuyTips" If this is the case, it could make it interesting on players outside of US time zones. Baskets could drop in my town and disappear before I woke up. Guess I will have to get up frequently so I don't miss out. that's what I posted and I think it just depends on what that time is but you should be able to find it when you wake up

So we have 12 hours to find it and then 12 hours to wait for the new piece of candy to spawn?

just curious, have any of you noticed if the candy stays if you're on edit mode? i'm trying to move buildings that could be blocking roads, but still not seeing it. so i'm wondering if it'll be there in edit mode when i click on a building like i'm going to move it and the building is transparent. is the candy still visible when i do this? this is candy is a headache trying to find -MK No when you're in edit mode it disappears. I'm at 3 now, just collected my third

Guess I will have to get up frequently so I don't miss out. I think they tried to keep all time zones in mind when they came up with the reset times. 12-3p in the US, 7p in the UK, and early AM in Australia are all pretty manageable. That said, I see the disadvantage to being a Swede. It's rough to have to set an alarm in the middle of the night so you don't lose some candy you might have overlooked at bedtime. Might as well just delete all of your roads except one section, so if it spawns, it'll be impossible to miss. It'll look awful, but it's better than having to set a nightly alarm.

I saw either Mopurglar or mk1979 towns had a sparkling box. How come I didn't get one?

Looks like I missed my second piece - time zones and a restrictive work environment/schedule is going to kick me this time. I'm really going to be sad if this keeps up, the 12 hr thingie isn't really fair to folks that work 12 hr shifts and can't check in constantly

I'm really going to be sad if this keeps up, the 12 hr thingie isn't really fair to folks that work 12 hr shifts and can't check in constantly While I don't see myself having any issues since I'm in the USA, I do think their implementation seems pretty lousy. Why have the next one appear in 24 hours, but only give the player 12 hours to collect the first one? Why not allow them like 16-20 hours to get it before it disappears? Why not have it disappear moments before the new one is set to come in? Seems they are making it super limited for no reason at all. People around the world play this game, so some could be sleeping easily 8 hours (or more) of this availability. Even us here in the states could be at work or school for a good portion of the available time as well. So I really wonder the reasoning why only 12 hours and not the full 24 or even something like the friend timer at 20 hours.

Yeah, I don't have an issue with the timing as I get mine at 8pm for me. But I can see why others are annoyed, and I too think the time should be 16 or 20 hours to find it.
