Went onto my game a short while ago to see the red icon above the buildings menu in the store, so i checked them out. all but one are for in game cash and are well priced, but thier build times are quite long (between 16-24hrs). one building added for clams and the dog park is an instant build

They're quite cheap considering they're District 9 buildings. Comparatively, buildings in Tapped Out cost hundreds of thousands of in-game cash as one progresses in the game.

I think they are quite reasonably priced indeed, do they serve a purpose? Not for items, but perhaps new tasks for characters maybe?
Once I have district 9 cleared and Tom unlocked I guess we will see, right now though my two workers are tied up clearing land

I know i can just buy those buildings anyway, but i have very little land available at the moment, so once District 9 is cleared, it's time to build a new area of town

Not sure why everything is so cheap. District 8 stuff was all 10-25k and these are just 1-3k. That's quite a huge difference. You'd think if you were done with district 8 that you'd have hundreds of thousands.

I thought the same thing (well, similar lol) I wonder if they are trying to be fair to newer players who may not have such a big in game cash pot I actually like the fact they have kept them so cheap, i think they have balanced it out a bit with the longer build times (maybe, it's just a theory i have lol)

I wonder why these new buildings are so small. Some buildings were already smaller than they should be. But now i have to put the new buildings together or they will look too weird with the old buildings.
Dogs town or something?

I suppose the dev's imagined that a puppy shop (Yuppy Puppy) would be best as a very small shop, it looks really out of place though, you're right. 3 pet-related shops now, and a dog park.

Building Yuppy Puppy just now, 'tis a bit small at 3x3 in size, should have been about 5x4 to show it off a bit more. Its a nice building

I have City Hall and Taste of Sicily constructing now, and all of the other buildings are built. I accidentally got 2 pet stores (can't sell the extra) so I dumped to inventory.
