Have decided to completely redesign my town, not sure how I'm going to do it yet, but have made a start. Lots of stuff, lots of work. Phew, be on the game all night at this rate... Where is my battery charger for my tablet? Lol

Its really amazing how long it takes to get a full redesign done. Think it took me about 5 hours last time I tried! Good luck Dave!

Well, it took a while, but i've managed to completely redesign my town, there are still some areas that need further work, but this will come with time and new buildings. The principle of this was to remove some decorations and try and develop some more space whil;e keeping the town looking as presentable as possible. This is what my town looks like now, I've split it into Phases as that's how I designed it, so i've added some extra text to just detail them a bit more. I hope you all like my newer Quahog PHASE 1: Lower south side, re-developed, chinatown taken away and changed to a more localised shopping area, with the sea front buildings now taking place at the bottom of the phase 1 zone PHASE 2: The 'unofficial' centre of the town, home to the HQ of the Fabulous 4 (i loved the original design for this i previously did i decided to keep it in my town, just altering it slightly). On the right of the Fab 4 HQ there is the Museum, the Church and City Hall, behind that, the skate park (temporary) and Herbert's Iced Cream truck (temporary). Just above the Fab 4 HQ is Unit 1 office block - although by sticking the askjeeves building behind it became a multi office block of sorts), and of course, James Woods High next to it as well PHASE 3: The eastern side of town (Districts 8 & 9), is always going to change as i move things around, the only exception being the fire station, the hospital and the French cafe which all match each other size wise. This area now included the prison, the space shuttle, that funny looking oranbge building and the minion stewie building as well as the rocket park. What's interesting about this area is the fireworks at the bottom of the space shuttle, fun to tap, you can pretend the shuttle is taking of or malfunctioning, either way, it's a good use of the fireworks which just sit in my inventory. The most notable addition to this area is the two chinese buildings, moved from Phase 1's chinatown, and now just placed in town like a normal building Phase 4: The more northern part of town, now a reduced version of Spooner Street to give me more space in my town, there is a gap next to Herbert's house, this will eventually be filled with Consuela's house. To the right of that you have the other school and the new news building, and next to that is S&M and then the Unit 2 office block. There is a considerable amount of space left over now for ossible expansion to Phase 4 PHASE 5: Phase 5 is still (technically) under construction, to the north west of my town. Right now it's a simple area, consisting of the lighthouse, harbour, Vinny's Mansion, TinyTots pre-school and of course, the celebrity area. All the chairs are placed on the beach front for them to relax on looking out at the ocean ofter a hard days work on the film set which is placed just behind them. There is also gold diggers island, which is about the only place i could put it really. Hope to expand this eventually into a bigger phase 5 design PHASE 6: This is the idea that kicked off this major town redesign, ands the one area i'm really proud of when it was finished. This is basically the tourist side to Quahog, it has everything here, all the fast food buildings, the arcade, the police station, nightclubs and more. The front of the complex is the hotels, looking out onto the ocean, perfect spot for a vacation. The area next to the hotels you will see if literally the waterpark/zoo/adventure park all bunched up together with the fairground ride to create a more altogether theme park. This idea also meant i had more space available to me elsewhere by doing this. I don't think i'll be changing this at all unless they add more hotels. My centrepiece to my Quahog this phase of the redesign is, and my favourite part

Thanks y'all I did make a few changes last night, just a few things moved around slightly, when i get a chance i'll add some new pics where i've made those changes, just in a 'still not quite sure' phase, so might still either remove some pointless stuff that does nothing like the olympic swimming pool and the baseball park, or just redesign them slightly

@dave3490, this is impressive -- one of the best I've seen. I particularly like the square by the waterfront.
Everything is so clean, meticulous, and attractive.
I love it!

Thank you I've had to make some changes to the original designs you see there with the introduction of the new buildings, with the lack of land at the moment, i've had to literally move all of my favourite decorations that were on show back into my inventory, which is a shame. Don't know how it happened but all the fre land i had is now gone, just a rectangular patch left in which i can barely put anything. It's not fair, we need more land... When i get a chance i'll post up some caps of the new look town (actually, it's just a few moved buildings and newer buildings placed, the layouts are pretty much the same)

Here is the slightly altered version of my town so far (with notable changes to the original images posted above). Rather than a lot of text explaining, i'm going to put the before and after images up instead, more visual, less reading. We all like pics don't we? lol. As you can see from these newer screencaps of my town, i have VERY little land left available to me, and like many other players, I am considering messaging TinyCo to beg for them to release more land PHASE 1: Before After PHASE 2: Before After PHASE 3: Before After PHASE 4: Before After PHASE 5: Before After PHASE 6: Before After

i've stitched together some screenshots of my town to try and show it in one image rather than multi. It's not my best work, but it's not easy to create manually on photoshop. Hope it is clear to see everything though
