Batteries.. Save 'em or use 'em?

What's everyone's battery strategy?

I was saving them.. to use at a future date, or when Stewie got my Q hotel or another building that I needed to use. Seemed that most of the time, Stewie was on one or more of my Flappy Jacks restaurants (I have seven of them), so no rush to clear them. I saved up 25 batteries.. So last night I started using them, to get more sprays.

Now Stewie doesn't seem to come back in any rapid fashion. Only showed up three times today. Am I missing something?

Stewie respawns every 4 hours and only a maximum of 4 can be on your town, so I recommend using them to get Blam from giant Stewie
just save a few (about 8) just in case he spawns on one important building.

I save them, I only use them to free a building with a character trapped in it or once in a while on the Q Hotel, I have at least 12 batteries.

Use them, i'm at like 57 or something. And I do notice a slow down in spawning since Giant Stewie showed up

yeah, i too noticed a lower spawn rate of the Latcher Stewies since the Giant Stewie arrived. i tend to attack all the Latchers when the 4 hour Zapper timer ends by saving up batteries for a few days.

They changed it to max 4/4hrs respawn. I let them go till I greet recharged and zap one up to 4, but only after recharged once. Don't want to go 3hrs and waste one speeding it up when I could have waited. Unless they come up with a different use for batteries thier going to waist.

Supposedly the timer is preserved if you use a battery.

I use batteries all the time, they will likely be gone after the event. Now that they fixed Ron's task to be moved off the spray task, I will be getting a few less. But they will likely disappear after the event, so I say spend'em if you got'em.

The number of latcher stewies we get is limited, so might as well put your batteries to use.

I use them right after my free zap. If I have latcher stewie on multiple buildings, I wait until my free zap, then use batteries for the remaining buildings. Keeps my total at around ~30.

At the moment appears to be a scam.  Not sure why someone would need so many.  Unless batteries are needed with the bomb supplies, I see no purpose of needing to purchase that many.
