I made the decision early on that I wanted all the celebrities. Most of them I have a great affinity for and it looks like they'll all be voiced (hopefully). I figured that realistically I would have to spend 300-400 clams per celeb to get them, factoring in the buildings that drop items etc. I was thinking around $100 would suffice. It is more than I wanted to spend but I said wth I'm going to anyways. Now however I'm wondering if $100 will be enough. If we have 7 celebs to get in roughly 5 weeks and get one per week to unlock we'll be short 1 since we get Takei from the prizes. Since we have Patrick Stewart & Ron Perlman already and it looks like Felicia Day & Stan Lee are next, where does that leave Nathan Fillion & Bryan Cranston? And then it dawned on me... They might be in the MYSTERY BOXES Crap. It would explain why we haven't seen director chairs or trailers for either one. So now I'm looking at $150 maybe? If I'm lucky? So I'm wondering who here is going for it all and how much are you willing to spend to get it? Me I'm going for the gold. I've already invested around 1700 clams in this event and dammit I want everyone.

I hate to say it but that actually makes sense and it wouldn't surprise me if that's the sort of thing TinyCo are planning after how they did the same thing with Human Rupert!

I think you are going to need more cash if you want to get everything. Depending on the clam package you buy, I only can afford a crate every now and then.

I may change my mind, but as of now I'm not spending anything on this event. I'm still not happy about the King Butt event, ended up spending over 800 clams to get him in the end. My e-mail about the glitches I had during that event was met with a reply that the event was doable without spending clams with the suggestion that I bought premium items to help me finish the event without spending clams. Yeah, that made sense. Like I said, I may change my mind as the end gets closer, but as of right now if I can't get to the end by grinding; then, I'm not getting to the end.

Events like these are only doable, without spending clams, if you go on the game a hell of a lot a day. I almost got King Butt as freemium, but was 10-15,000 away. If I went on more I could have got it, but didn't have time.

I try to log on every hour or two when I'm awake and it still wasn't enough. I don't know how much more I could have done on that one.

Spent $0 and got King Butt, spending $0 and hoping to get some good stuff this time around as well. Expecting some increase in Blam production much like the last event otherwise I'm way off the pace at this point! Will be fun to see how much I can get as I continue my freemium ways!

I don't have a lot of time to go on the game a lot so I brought some premium stuff to help get Blam (I gotmthre sommelier and super truck. The super truck disappeared from my Quahog yesterday so waiting for TinyCo to get back to me on that). I don't think I'll buy any mystery boxes for clams but will for Blam! (That is if they add one for Blam)

I spend money(clams) on buildings I like. I really wanted the chutes and lads and the screening theater, so I bought them.

I was going to buy some of the Ron Perlman buildings soon, until elmo1eyebrow mention about mystery box and now it appears last night it appears the mystery box. Now I currently don't know how much clams to buy now.

I had 45 clams saved and purchased 130 clams package and three 50 clams packages. With that ammount I bought Ron Perlman's trailer, Chutes and Lads and 2 Mystery Boxes (in them Photo Wall and 12 batteries were found). So some nice, funny and useful items. I doubt I will spend more.

I buy 20$ of clams but not really for the event. It's only the signal for me to put a little money again in the game. I spend 0$ on King Butt (the new items/building didn't attract me and i got KButt anyway)
I limit myself to a maximum of 10$/month. And it's really generous for a casual game. In fact : if someone don't like Family Guy, i have no reasons to say why he should play this game than another of the same kind.

I have already dropped 3k clams I think. I usually try to get all there is even decorations which can often end up in storage. Still can't get that hover Park. I usually buy monthly drums and occasional tanks. I do feel this event is far more expensive. Wasn't the large producing building only 400 clams last time? There's a building per item now. I honestly just wantthe buildings and don't care much for the drop. And the small mystery boxes were only 25 clams. Tiny Co does seem to be exponentially gauging us.

I bought $100 iTunes card for $85 at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and spent them on clams. That helps bring the cost down for me when buying clams (or donuts in Tapped Out; I'm surprised we still don't have a Gil sale on donuts this year)) I may try to find another sale on iTunes card before this event is over.
