I'll probably buy a $50 of clams tomorrow and get all of the Ron Perlman premiums buildings, skip buying the battery factory and use some on the mystery box and hopefully I can win the battery factory that way.

I just checked that Target has 10% discount on select iTunes cards in stores (8/3-8/9) or 15% discount on $50 or $100 iTunes e-mail delivery.

I'm always on the lookout for iTunes gift cards on sale. Its the only way I spend $$ in the App Store.

Spending real money on a bunch of imaginary stuff that can only be used in a game! I can imagine a couple of bucks but $50+!
Madness.

I enjoy this game and don't regret spending money on it, just as I spend money downloading music, TV shows, and movies for my enjoyment.

As long as you get enjoyment out of the $$ you've spent that's all that matters. There's things my friends spend $$ on that I wouldn't ever but as long as they feel it's money well spent it is.

I have friend that collects Power Rangers stuff. I have a collection of shot glasses. People can spend their money how they want.

for me, i see buying clams as buying a game for a console. but i do understand people who are "Freemium Only". it IS a free game. i just like adding to my gaming experience certain buildings/characters/decor to make my Quahog more unique -MK

Wow! That's quite a collection. I need more room for my collection as well. Some of them are boxed up as I can't put them out.

I love the trailers for the celebrities. They're freakin' cool.

I made the decision early on that I wanted all the celebrities. Most of them I have a great affinity for and it looks like they'll all be voiced (hopefully). I figured that realistically I would have to spend 300-400 clams per celeb to get them, factoring in the buildings that drop items etc. I was thinking around $100 would suffice. It is more than I wanted to spend but I said wth I'm going to anyways. Now however I'm wondering if $100 will be enough. If we have 7 celebs to get in roughly 5 weeks and get one per week to unlock we'll be short 1 since we get Takei from the prizes. Since we have Patrick Stewart & Ron Perlman already and it looks like Felicia Day & Stan Lee are next, where does that leave Nathan Fillion & Bryan Cranston? And then it dawned on me... They might be in the MYSTERY BOXES Crap. It would explain why we haven't seen director chairs or trailers for either one. So now I'm looking at $150 maybe? If I'm lucky? So I'm wondering who here is going for it all and how much are you willing to spend to get it? Me I'm going for the gold. I've already invested around 1700 clams in this event and dammit I want everyone. Dunno about Nathan, but Bryan Cranston is 500 clams to buy. He is not in a mystery box (as of yet) so that's $20 to buy him outright basically. (I'm still pissed about this...)

So far I have notice the cost of each character to buy for all of their premium buildings and there chair is $20 = 600 clams each, so looks like if you seriously want everything it going to cost everybody at least $120 bucks for this entire event and that not including the Robo-Brian Mystery Box. So far I have only spent $20 bucks to unlock Patrick Stewart, I already had clams to buy other premium items for the Blam! trucks.
