Right we need a lot more building materials, pavements, concrete, maybe some dirt paths, parking lots etc. I'm a design freak and like my town looking smart, but the game is limited and especially when the roads and buildings are so uneven in terms of sizes you are left with massive spaces between and behind buildings.
any more ideas?

Quite like the fences and bushes not to look totally rubbish when you go around a corner with them.

Yeah I found it very limiting, hopefully they will release a lot of decorations and generic houses. We sure do need pavements. It just dosnt look right having grass between shops

My town looks like garbage. I caved in and am starting an office farm so I can get some cash flow. Will probably wait to make any type of thoughtful design until a month from now.

Dirt and pavement are needed badly. Anal point looks dumb without dirt trails leading to it. And like what's been said the shops look out of place with grass between them

I agree! I like to put thing in front of the houses and buildings, but grass where concrete should be like bad. Because of that, many decorations feel useless and make your town more ugly than beautiful. Just a tile for concrete and parking lot will be a major improvement.
