Just now got Captain Hammered. Got last one from Gold shirt nerd. Peter still has 2 hours left trying to get a cocktail so I'll have to wait for that. I got 5/6 cocktails from nerds, only 1 from Peter earlier (first time I put him on the task for it).

Is it possible to advance in this game without spending money for clams? Yes. Not exactly sure what you mean, but if your definition is "walk away from this event with a whole bunch of free stuff and characters" then yes. If your definition is "I am a completist and I want ALL THE THINGS" then no. I have not spent a cent on this game - I take the clams as they come. Which, in practice, means I've saved up for Jake and the horse. I'd rather have a character/building combo than anything else, really. In terms of the events: no, you don't get to participate in mystery boxes, and you probably won't get to the last couple prizes. I missed out on King Butt and the gorilla last event: this event, who knows. I got Sir Lanceawarts this morning. Shooting for 50,000 and the Q - I think that's doable. But to compensate for lack of mystery boxes, all of the mini-events so far have been completely doable without clams. 15 Stewies in four days? Easy. Repair all three buildings for the spaceship? Check. Heck, even Pee Pants was accomplishable without spending my precious sea creatures. Characters, so far, have been completely unlockable without clams. Patrick Stewart's been running around my town for four or five days now, and I'm making decent progress toward Ron. Event buildings? I think I'm at four right now. Don't look at all the stuff you're missing out on because of clams - look at all the stuff you've gotten without clams. And then go do something awesome with the money you didn't spend on pixels. While I appreciate your viewpoint, to me it's all about how much enjoyment you get out of your purchases. Like me for instance, it brings me great pleasure whenever I buy a premium item that I will treasure for as long as the game is active; for example: I spent 450 clams on the mystery box & on my 6th try I won the Clamterprise. I absolutely wanted it the moment I saw it and I don't regret for a minute spending $$ to get it. I love it and will continue to. And yes sometimes I impulse buy something I later regret ( I'm looking at you Infinizap battery factory) but it doesn't diminish my enjoyment of everything else. I absolutely love this event and will spend as much as it takes to get what I want from it.

I love the other exclusive prizes in the box as well.

Thanks Carter and rob. Sorry it's the same with you too, but misery does love company and it sounds like I have a lot of company.

I just noticed my telephone disappears when taped, don't remember it doing anything when I first got it. Yea they just animated it couple of days ago, I have it next to one of my buildings and I by accident tapped on it and it fanished. I thought oh crap, I just lost my telephone booth and it appeared again, pretty cool.

Do you think the robo Stewie will give out more prizes for blam/cash? I think it will be more prizes , but tinyco may not have gotten enough money from us yet so be prepared to be gouged.

I didn't mean that post as a "people who buy clams are silly" rather, more of "even without clams there's still a great deal of enjoyment to be had from this game". I travel a heck of a lot for sports, and I really can't justify putting actual money into my Quahog (and Springfield) because all my spare cash goes toward running around the US, and occasionally the rest of the planet. But by all means, if building a beautiful town with everything possible is your thing, then go to it!

Has there been a mix-up in items for Ron Perlman?
I have 5/10 Extra Rare tapes I have 6/20 Rare Puppies I have 0/10 Rare Music Discs I have 5000/5000 blam
I have got the extra rare items everytime but no music discs? I think they made a mix-up and put the discs as extra rare and tapes as just rare but it says otherwise? Help?

I had 4/10 movies, 12/20 puppies and 0/10 discs after two days of sending characters on tasks. But than 2 red nerds spawned and both of them dropped discs. So I think they are rare cause extra rares of the same type doesn't drop one after other.

I believe Friday I got a good amount started and on Saturday hadley nothing dropped and yesterday almost every time, I kept receiving one of each. So I have 7/10 Black & White Tapes, 15/20 Puppies, 6/10 Music Discs and 5000/5000 blam. Who knows what today will produce, I haven't bought any of the newest premium items yet.

I just unlocked "The Perl" .. Have him practice fighting now. I wish they would have increased the stewie spawn rate as I have way too many batteries and they are building up instead of being used up... Thanks to the Brian box I have a second battery factory and too many batteries.. Maybe in next weeks portion these batteries will come in handy?

Looking to add Lois's costume later today. Under 200 blam! needed for 35k. Perhaps that darn hanger will finally disappear over Al's.
