The makeup doesn't seem to be dropping for me. Still need two for Chris. I'm in the same boat. Only 1 makeup kit dropped all weekend. Oh well no rush. Same that's all I need for most of the outfits everything dropped so far has been all just the hairspray cans needed for Chris |

Forgot that I unlocked quagmire's robe costume also though.. So far this whole weekend "sale and drops" I only received the make up one time and Brian's car is not appearing during the quest for Louis.

Day spa gave me hairspray, middle school gave me make up. So 2 make up kits since Friday night. That's with characters dedicated to them and the buildings that generate them. At this rate I'll unlock all the costumes by end of summer that need make up

This blow out deal was awesome. I entered having 1/5 make up kits, and within the first 6 hours, I had the other 4. Although the Headband was listed as part of the deal, yet I haven't gotten a single one yet, and Lois did the quest at least 5-6 times. So I guess Rambo Lois will be one of the last costumes I unlock. Goth Chris may get done this week now. Just a few pieces of metal left and that's a wrap. I was putting those off, but then I saw the make up deal and figured I should start those, so I think I got 3 so far.

It's a little frustrating when you only need like one or two of the materials left and you have to do the task like 5 more times before you complete that material especially if it's a long task

Those shells seemed to be on hyper drive during the sale. I had 1 before the weekend, and had the other 3 nearly immediately. I wonder if it was a bug where it was instead of the headband. The wharf kicked one out, same with the Lobster Shanty - and Consuela has been on that 12 hour task for a while (a week maybe?) trying to get them, and they just spilled out. Mermaid Peter may actually get completed as long as music notes start flying in. That's Seamus' main job now, Lois is still trying for headbands. But I'm thinking I might switch her over. Having done that 2 hour task multiple times a day for 3 straight days yielding 0 of them is pretty frustrating. |
