I got a bug since this sale. Impossible to clear the kids from the streets with Joe, the rare items who should drop make my game crash.
But i don't know if the bug is related to the quest or this items.
Update : The bug disappear after a hard restart.

Does Family Jewels even make sense to buy? It is 25 clams on sale...and I assume it generates jewels, but I'd rather just drop 50 on Tucker's kid and the church. Plus I need to hire another laborer .

Get the extra worker you will need it. Takes longer to build and clear land the farther you get into the game. |

I had same problem so I bought more spas but that was in beta not sure now if you can buy multiple spas anymore. The whip for Lois that comes from the fire house took me two weeks to get those and I bought four firehouses.......super rare item I guess. If you can buy more buildings do it it's the easiest way to get the items you need. |

I got one hairspray then one makeup kit then the rest between now and then 4 hairspray cans in a row so completed that for Goth Chris. I wish that for buildings you can't have multiples of dropped all the items you could get from it

I got more than enough Jewels from Mort, and he doesn't drop any other material so far. So, Family Jewels isn't useful and mostly decorative now. On the other hand, the second worker is the best thing you can buy with clams. It's a real time saver when you know many place need 12h to 1 days to clean/build. When you don't need to build/clean two places at once you can start a buildings farm* with him. I cleaning the docks now and i never got a coins problems since i got him (around 14000 coins a day now, thx to him). So far, i don't advise to take a third worker. Two is more than enough. *common office for 150 coins is the best for space and cost. |
