Ok so this is really starting to get on my nerves. I set people up for tasks expecting them to be done at a certain time only to discover that the countdown timer hasn't worked the right way and is taking much longer then expected. I think I read somewhere to leave the game open for a minute after assigning the tasks, but how long do I have to do that for? I checked the troubleshooting section of the game and it said to close the game using the home button...which I always do...but it's not helping. Has anyone found a better fix for this or is it just something I have to live with?

Hey! Welcome to the forum moonshine8605 I'm not 100% sure, this hasn't happened to me, but I remember reading somewhere that when you close the app you should double tap the home button like this.. then swipe up on family guy so the app closes properly, not sure how to do this if your on Android.

I've also noticed it yes...I'm sure I sent Quagmire on a 6hr task and after 8 hours he still had 5 hours remaining. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Did you know there's a new update? That might be the fix for it

I'm up to date on both platforms but still noticed it today.

Thanks for the welcome! I did the update yesterday and it's not fixed. But I'll try closing the app completely and see if that works.

Yeah this kept happening to me. Really annoying, put on a 2 hour task come back 4 hours later to find they are still 1hr 35mins left. Erm what the hell.
