I took ALL Day yesterday trying to unlock Mort, sending Bonnie to twerk it, quagmire to let the gerbil out,Peter Overeating, Bruce fretting, and Jerome doing black guy stuff and I still need 2 antacids and 2 jewels.. Is it just me or is his items unusually hard to unlock? anyone else take this long? the Antacids say "Common" on them but they have been Ultra rare to come by...

I had no major trouble. Most of the gems came on the first time, I don't think I really used Peter for the quest line either, it was either him or Bonnie or something. They were busy with a list of quests. (Knocks on wood) I haven't had much trouble with any of the items. I got Peter's Gold suit parts pretty easily (I think 3/5 or so ratio, maybe 3/4). Gems have come mostly easily.
The main one right now is the Gerbil part for Quagmire's suit. I think that has my lowest ratio. I know for Mort and for Lois, I started their quest lines a little late after unlocking them since I was just trying to complete quests. I have been doing quests > items right now. Peter has been doing his costume quests for this weekend and today.

I would say about a day. I'm on my last few tasks to release Lois now.

So I guess that gave me sufficient time to buy the building. I know right when Mort was finished building, I had characters doing other tasks for outfits and what not. Then I was like I should unlock him. So I bought the bank (after the thrift shop and boutique) and then all of his items just starting spilling out from tasks or buildings. So it started a lot faster than I thought. |

Just got him a couple hours ago. I think it took me about a day and a half of actual game play (was interrupted by the Bruce bug). Looking forward to getting Lois now.
