What's your item-collection strategy?

I got all my maracas Lois and joe need to drop the stupid gloves lol, I've gotten 1 so far my building trick does help though, on my way with the pink poofs and plutonium rods and gems (which Jerome tends to drop more than the baseball bats)

I haven't gotten one yet, you got seriously dumb luck.

I've only used that twice since he had the option with 0 drops, Brian is getting those Maracas right now - which one dropped this morning.  I really hate the combos of characters.  Brian needs to drop 2 extra rare items.  I'll be moving him over once Peter is on Maracas.  Peter has been generating sugar packets which Chris keeps dropping PB&J's more often than sugar packets.  PB&Js will be flying now with Meg dedicated on them as well.  Lois is getting those darn gloves and Joe too.  But Joe hasn't dropped a single one yet - utterly useless.

Jerome keeps dropping Jewels instead of Bats, so those bats are being pesky too.  Lois can generate bats, but she probably will never use that task.  She will be going to the other extra rare plutonium once the gloves are capped off.  I wish Joe or someone else could generate Bats.  Joe was on the softball team!

i must live in a different universe than ya'll. i get bats left and right from Jerome and his fro...nearly there. if only i could share my Jerome with the Universe

the jewels i'm relying on either he or the Jewelry Store to get currently.

another strategy i use is as the items get closer to the amount needed, i will only use 1 person to do the task/action and use the other person(s) to get other items.

as soon as i get these gyatdayum satchels i'm going straight for the blueprints (Herbert & Quagmire) and jewels (Mort) full-time. that will be the only action(s) i put them in.

That's been my main source of jewels the past few days - the store and Jerome.  Prior when Carter was first unlocked, I had Bonnie twerk it a little, Mort coughed up some and I think I even had Peter do his once.  But those are dropping like commons.  That jewel store was a wise investment a while back.  Whatever the last need of them was is when I bought the store.  I was quite happy to see I needed 45 jewels and had the store before it began.  The coffee shop I never did get (but sort of want), but not if it's as useless as it is.

Yeah, the satchels are a pain in the rear.  Mort stinks at generating those.  Herbert was getting slippers forever, but he is finally joining in on the fun.  Still need 5 more of those.  Then I can't wait to have Mort go to jewel production (last item task) and Herbert can move to banana peals, my other devil.  Bonnie stinks at generating those.

I've now got everything for Falconer Peter. He is on his first task.
Now I'm collecting mainly for PB & J Brian, and the other characters, depending on what materials, if any, they drop, are collecting for Stewie and Carter. Should get PB & J Brian soon!

The premium junk building is just as it's bane States, junk. I only got one Plutonium from it so far, and I've tested out its drop rate and it's much lower than 33%. Usually around 6-8 times

I only need 3!  I could have gotten all 3 today, but this morning I got a big 0.  So earliest is now tomorrow, with a chance of satchels on Sunday.

Keep at it!  I got Carter on Friday I think and Falconer Peter Saturday.  PB & J Brian is getting close (sort of), those stinking Banana Peals!  Really disliked how Herbert was overworked, Bonnie stunk at generating them.  Got 2 Maracas surprisingly this weekend, just need 1 more.  Then Brian can go to Plutonium.  Lois did kick off 1 of those this weekend, but it will be a long wait on those.  Doesn't matter I still need lots of blueprints, and with Quagmire and Bruce on toy generation - getting 0 a day (Herbert is needed for Banana peals).  Jewels seem to have slowed down, so I wonder if that rate was lowered.  Bats took a big jump this weekend.  PB & J's finished slow since again Bruce and Chris were taken off for toys - Meg managed to go 3/3 when they were pulled.

I had a delay starting the event since I didn't quite get what the toy was for until a second login explaining the event.  So Bruce wasted 2 potential generations by going for a PB & J, Quagmire was a late start since he was on Blueprints the night before (missed 1 generation) and Peter was on Maracas the night before (missed 1 generation) - so Saturday was off to a slow start.  I had risked Chris starting it since I already had Meg/Bruce on another round of Sandwiches while initially assigning tasks.
