Would that bunchajunk store supply anything besides the plutonium rods after you get stewie? Cause that would be sweet.a junk store that gives out random needed items It technically could, but seeing as they are adding a new store per item, not likely anytime soon at the moment.

I collect items based on what fits best with my schedule. I hate the idea of wasting time that could be spent acquiring items so I try to maximize my time. For example if I have 6 hours before I go to bed and a character has a 4 & 8 hr task, rather than just doing the 8 hr I'll set the 4 hr then the 8 before bed. I don't care too much what the item is for since I'm going to get all of them anyways.

I' m more than halfway to getting all the stuff for Carter. I'll probably unlock him in a few days. Stewie will probably take another 2-3 weeks, if not more.

Cause that would be sweet.a junk store that gives out random needed items i think up to this point the stores/buildings that drop specific items just drop coins after you have enough. let's hope that we need to collect those items for future costumes so they aren't just there for show for the duration of the gameplay. but i like your idea. guess we'll see what TinyCo has in mind -MK

I'm now building the Malt shop to get carter. I may start to unlock him when it has finished building, but that depends what characters get materials for him.

Basically the same ones needed for Falconer Peter, PB & J Brian and Stewie. Herbert/ Herbert house/Quagmire+Peter combo generate slippers (need 15) - all 3 have 6 hour timers Chris/Long John Peter can generate sugar packets - 8 hour tasks (need 15) Jewels - large crew of characters $25,000 cash My Chris is dropping more PB&Js than sugar packets, I'm thankful for the rarer item, but it's stopping Peter from helping getting extra rare Maracas or something else... Basically only my Long John Peter is generating sugar packets 75% of the time.

now no otherwise it'd say so I'm interested in your strategy for the item drops seeing as you nearly completed district 8 in 5 days. What characters did which tasks at which times? All of the drops are 4h, 6h, 8h, 12h, 20h - so just curious which characters you used to generate the items needed. Perhaps I looked at it the wrong way. I'm assuming you bought several BunchaJunk Gift Shop and pLace - seeing as those are the only stores (outside of Family Jewels/Herbert's house) that drop the items needed for the this district.

My strategy has changed slighty.. I'll leave the items I can get from buildings to the buildings unless that character really has no other choice.. Basically you know how I said I may have had an idea... Well let's just say if the dropping of an item isn't random it would have to be set when the character starts their task.. So as you wouldn't be able to really get the item for sure from the character there is a tip that can help when you're down to say 1 long timed item and have more than 1 character trying to get it.. Like say I'm down to 1 of whatever the 10 hr task for Herbert and mort is. So I'll send mort for fun on the task, let the game save, airplane mode it and speed him up to see if he drops it, exit the game and turn airplane mode off. If he drops it I don't need to send Herbert for that same item.. Too bad we can't pick up characters, but using this method there is 1 type of item drop that you can still guarantee if you wanted too...

Not sure if it's just dumb luck on my part, but butt scooting with Brian has produced Plutonium every time so far since I started using it. His Maracas drop wasn't as great

I need 10 sugar pks for C.P., but I'm going in order of time. So I'm doing the shorter times first (if more than one) 1. C.P. 2. Peter 3. Brian 4. Stewie That's the order I think they will finish. I know Stewie will be last so I'm not trying to get him.
