Check back with me in a week or two to see if I still feel the same way, but right now I like that it's going to take a while to get all the stuff to unlock the new costumes and get Stewie. I'm at level 40 and many of my characters are maxed out. That makes the game kinda boring with nothing to look forward to. At least now, I have goals to work toward which makes me want to log into the game more often. I just wish that I didn't have to put up with the clowns right now. No idea why there presence is bothering me, but I really want to get rid of them.

GOOD NEWS! don't see anything Family Guy posted to FaceSpace that they are updating the item drop. Basically each category will have a limit threshold of repeats before it will auto drop. So if you've been uber unlucky with headbands, there's a threshold for all types (Epic, Extra Rare, Rare, Uncommon, Common). After you hit it, the item will auto drop once then will start the process over. I think it's per character, but not entirely sure - they didn't state otherwise. |

How is that good news??... Basically they're force dropping every once in a while.. I mean it makes it so that EVENTUALLY I get everything I need.... but did they say what the thresholds are? I've got 1 plutonium, 1 leather glove, and 1 maraca right now, and hope I don't have to spend months building up to thresholds to get the rest! lol

I'm trying not to think about it at this point. I just put characters on tasks hoping they drop stuff, collect coins from buildings and leave the game. Then I check back about 2-3 x a day. I really hope TinyCo will get rid of these chance-based system of getting stuff in the future. It's a grind at this point. |

I'll tell ya...i sure am glad that they didn't just "give" us stewie or the new outfits. (And by give I mean made it insanely easy to acquire)
I was starting to wonder if the 400,000+ $ I had was ever going to get spent...this new update made short work of that half mill, that's for sure.
this game just keeps getting better and better. No complaints here.
