I have used this glitch and can confirm it still works. I got almost all of the building in the box.
Also it is very easy to farm clams off these boxes since you can only get the buildings once!

Also it is very easy to farm clams off these boxes since you can only get the buildings once! same with decorations so after getting the 8 buildings and decorations using this you can basically get George Takei in a few of days. Plus once the Stewie one comes that will cost more but will also have higher amounts of blam and clams I hope that one has the convention center in it |

Thanks! However, this does not work on my iPad. If I turn of the connection after seeing the prize, I will find it in my inventory after restarting the game. On iOS it is key to turn off the connection before the prize is shown.

To anyone who is considering using the glitch thinking that you'll load up on clams and idols, let me just say that this is very bad advice (now, at least). I don't know if they've drastically changed the odds since this post was written, but now it is definitely not "very easy to farm clams since you can only get the buildings once." I hadn't bothered buying any boxes because I wouldn't spend clams on any of the prizes anyway, but when I saw this post, I figured I'll do it and get my clams back. I've now spent a few hours on it and am out 450 clams on things I wouldn't normally spend clams on. It is a net win for Tinyco--I wonder if they stacked the odds specifically so they'll turn a profit on glitchers. The odds of landing on clams are so infrequent that it's not worth it to waste your time, IMO. All it takes is one timing accident and you'll lose an hour of progress. And I've had no accidents. Also, keeping the deco prizes doesn't increase your odds of winning clams--it just costs you another 75 clams that you won't get back. After I started keeping the deco prizes, the odds didn't appear to change any--all that happens is that you'll start landing on 350 blam constantly. |
