Hell yeah.  Chris has 1 hour left on his quest line, then I can finally use him. I will also have prize 3 in the next hour, which is 25 clams! Well donee!! I am still 3 snakes and 5 whips down but not long to go - it's been relatively easy to get all the bits i think it's just juggling the questlines with the quests for items that's tricky.... Adventure Peter now needs 60 idols, 2 guns, 8 bull whips (yikes..) I decided to cave on the antiques market to help with the whips. I made the mistake and had Jerome going for canteens for a lot of the time, so haven't been terribly lucky. Chris finishes the quest line in 4 hours or so (did his 1 hour first, then set the 20 hour). So finally will have his help. I tried that 'tip' for getting items and I don't think it works on IOS. When attempting to pull up the menu, the screen always scrolls, so then the character is not on the screen when I disable the internet. No, it does. You just have to close the menu and then swipe back up really quickly. The game should still give you 4-5 seconds before Consuela starts whining about the connection. I'm on iOS and I've been exploiting this like crazy. ALL 5 BATHTUBS WOO! |

Well,done @pheobexlois (What am I doing wrong? Everytime I try and tag someone it doesn't work!). I'm now sitting at: 20 Canteens 6 Inner tubes (What's going on with that?) 3 Bubble bath Got ALL the Butt Icons, now back down to only 200 odd to spend, at least your total is cumulative and you don't have to start from scratch each time, that would drive me more bonkers than I already am  . Looks like I'm gonna be grinding out inner tubes come Friday though  |

I know what you mean, I've dropped clams for the idols and stalls, but I'm determined to get Cleveland without speeding him up with clams, I'll feel better for it |

I'm freemium so I'm not spending clams on the stalls/shrines. I'm not too bothered how many prizes I get, as long as I get Cleveland.

Be sure to turn off the cellular data ( that one got me ) I had guessed to do that, but thanks for the tip! I had to remember to turn it back on when I'm done with the technique! Got the last eyeball freeing Dr. Hartman of his duty. Now to do it for bull whips and bath tubs, and probably will need to start doing it for the floats..... |

Do it for as much as possible consecutively for sure! At first everyone's jobs were at the griffin house which was kind of annoying, then quagmire now uses his house and Bruce uses the drunken clam which is better but I didn't realize it ( a couple of times!) and missed out.
Just got AP building now- didn't realize I'd lose half my idols, now I'm not sure when I'll get Cleveland

I need to get a lotto ticket, stat!
Without using the cheat method (although I had intended to and had the wi-fi turned off just in case), I just hit a 100% drop for every character item. No kidding, did not use the method (although I was prepared to for Bonnie, Quagmire, Chris and Jerome) - all of them dropped items without having to do the trick. Bonnie dropped a tub. Ok, so that's lucky. Quagmire dropped a tube. Ok, not too bad. Antiquities shop drops a bull whip (ok, it has 100% rate since I bought it). Tapped the Museum - drops a bull whip... was thinking what on earth is going on. Bruce dropped a Canteen (always appreciate). Okay, went to Chris/Jerome. Hit Chris first getting the last bull whip. Adventure Peter is now constructing. Every single character on an item generating task paid out. I don't know what was going on.
Chris is finally working on inner tubes, Jerome back to canteens, and the quest for Cleveland is on! Adventure Peter will be ready in the morning.
