I bet we don't get it today and there just gonna piss a lot of people off why put out the update with no content available fucking stupid Because the update was in preparation of the incoming content... Big events like this need preparation as it adding new features and mechanics to the game. Also was mainly for bug fixes and animations tweaks. I understand that they need to give us a small update to prepare for the big update. That's a given. But the App Store update description shouldn't be "we're giving you all this cool new stuff!" unless they actually are giving us, you know, all that cool new stuff. All they needed to say was: "update to test out new version. Bigger things coming soon!" I guarantee they wouldn't have incurred half the current outrage.

I got the update, but hasn't triggered yet. I got Peter on a roadhouse task to help him unlock Tricia. I assume he starts the task. Also low on cash from Asiantown expansion so prob can't afford the pyramid or whatever it is anyway for a few days,

Are you on IOS or Android? I just looked in the app store and didn't see anything.
Edit: Just looked again on iPad and no update, but there is one on the phone. Weird. I don't know if I forgot to update the phone with the last one or not. Thought I did.
