Magic Mike stripper event

I just had a random thought.

I know it's been pointed out before how greedy these "events" have gotten, but I wanted to still put this out there.

Remember when we had a "Rupert Toy event"? Rupert was "free" to those that won him through normal play. Currently we have the Magic Mike event, "Magic Mike" is pure premium out of the gate.

So when we have events, characters are already premium and are not awarded for grinding it out. Instead we grind for (mostly pointless) skins. So we are losing out on actual characters, to get yet more skins.

And other useless skins are 200 Clams - more than so called premium characters.

Their pricing is messed up.  Skins should not be more than 50.  Characters shouldn't be more than 150.

Considering how both become 100% pointless within 30 days of purchase, it's just unreal.

Other than not having enough dollar bills, I can safely say all quests will be completed by tomorrow morning. Jerome just started his 12 hour on his own quest line, and the main one was finished up earlier today. I sent Chris ahead of time during Jerome's 1 hour to get a head start on it.

I bought the 300 pant building and the baseball gazebo. So I really only missed the prizes in the mystery box (had Stripper Bonnie from last year), and that one ferris wheel. Not too concerned, it's just been reskinned for like the 3rd or 4th time, so don't have to have it.

Let me guess another limited event or major event tomorrow night? Definitely no sign of district 11 anytime soon.

Well once Chris and Jerome are done, they'll be back in storage waiting. Might as well store Peter too, not like I can get 10 dollars in 24 hours.

That's what I figured, 10 clams for both and I still would pass.

10 for both, I would pay that.  Maybe 20 for both, probably would be my limit.  To have a NPC for 75 clams is outrageous.  They can keep it.

Seems to fit their scale.  75 for a NPC, 125-265 for characters and 200 for skins.

I just got 30 clams for being a good player, and here I thought I was an excellent player.

So I just completed TSTO event and even started a new free game (with no friends and didn't spend donuts or play half the amount of time), and finished shortly after my premium town and still had @2 days to finish. You can't do that in this game.
