And like clockwork TinyCo made a change. They added Peter's 6hr overeat task to help with the green birds. Saw that, but probably won't help me much. Still over a day behind since I started late, plus didn't play a lot this weekend as it was Mother's Day (wife was a first time mom too!). So I only have 2 of the rares, 1 from the autodrop of the building and collected 1 of the like half dozen times using those tasks. Don't think I can swing 18 rares over 3 days. Will be the first "free" skin for me to miss. Only missed Stewies (Steriod)/Brians (NYE) /Megs (Klingon) premium costumes. Got everything else. Does everyone have Fat Lois? If I remember right, that was in the Thanksgiving mystery box (unless it was Forklift Peter). forklift peter was in the mystery box |

I'm getting closer... But don't think I'm gonna make it. Need too many green birds

Didn't think it was possible but got it last night, too. Exhausting with this mini-event and the Tapped Out event (which is a grind as well) going on.  |

Wow I know I was skeptical (had every right to be), but unfortunately spent a few clams to rush a few tasks (to have a proper reset time). Now short 2 purple (uncommon). 3 hours with 3 chances before the deadline. Should be interesting. Will likely speed up for 1 clam on Bonnie, Joe and the school. So if I'm short, will likely just drop 15-30 clams to finish it off.

I'm going to be a few short, but if it's only a few clams I might just spend them. I've got too many things going on in my real life right now so I wasn't resetting my tasks as quick as I needed to be to get him without spending clams. I need 1 blue, 3 pink and 5 green. The blue & the pink have a chance to drop before the event ends, but the green ones won't.

Sigh, costed 18 clams to get this outfit. Either that or miss it by 1 stupid bird. (3 speed up and had to buy the final one for 15).
Really surprised I made it on green and blue though. Based on my stats from before, it seemed like the purple would have been fine. Oh well, hopefully the quest line will at least stay around. What's next, another limited time skin? Or can we finally get a tiny square of land up in here for District 11?

Then you were either luckier than me, or you got on more times. That Sunday I think I was only able to set tasks twice, like once in the morning, then before bed. So while the 12s were on track (sort of), probably could have gotten an 8 hour in sooner (which seemed to affect me in the end anyways). I didn't want to waste the clams, but I'd rather not just barely miss something. The clams for Uhura from Star Trek was definitely not worth it for me - as I needed like 50 dark matter. So that was many more just to get her on time. If I'm missing a single item or 2, then I don't mind to get the item as I put in a best effort and would still like the item. So my quest line disappeared with the event, so that stinks. Empty quest book, and barely got to see Peter's tasks. Tinyco knows of issue and trying to fix it. |
