I didn't get a drop the first time, but I sent her on it again and got it the second time.  That's cool.

Got jasper! First 2 boxes had the 2 needed buildings. Much faster than I thought. Clearing some santas for the other prizes now. Then building up a stock of supplies.

I have 2 more boxes to open. If I don't get the 300 doll cookie prize; then, I should have Jasper in about a half hour. Geesh.

Does anyone know where Bonnie's poker table is? I thought it was supposed to be in the striped box prizes, but it's not there. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something.

I would have thought the same.  Perhaps it's going to be added Friday.

I noticed the first box reappeared in the listing of the boxes, just with a giant lock on it. So perhaps more prizes will be added? Same with the stripped box I would think.

I just got the cheer stage and unlocked Jasper

while checking to see how many red stockings i had left over, i noticed all the boxes are now locked - i never got the 300 gingerbread men prize. I wonder if they took it out? Next box when it comes should be very interesting indeed

I've only opened 2 Striped Boxes (both items for Jasper).  Lois was catching up on tasks the last 24 hours so haven't really cleared any Santas for a while.  Jasper is on his 20 hour task until I wake up, so at a standstill on those prizes.

I think they lock the box if the last prize is the gingerbread cookies or the doll stocking cookies.  I've finished both boxes and didn't get either of those prizes.  Can't remember who, but I'm pretty sure someone had mentioned this a page or two back.

Soooo I haven't gotten any new stuff recently in game... probably because I've been forgetting to check... Late last night I realized it had been 24 hours since I checked... I have very little time left for the north pole challenge, etc.

I think the problem is that once again this is just Christmas decos pasted over the same Halloween/Comicon event and it's bloody boring......

Meanwhile TSTO is getting checks every couple hours because the event is INTERESTING....

So yeah... pretty much quit QFS... Game could've been handled better...

Yeah the events are getting dull.  Tapped Out has done similar before though, just not recently.  They don't often copy and paste anymore, but I can put it out here:

TSTO
Halloween 2012 / Christmas 2012 - both involved collecting a currency and buying prizes - mostly the same, just different themes and items.  Minor differences in functionality

Whacking Day 2013 / Halloween 2013 / Christmas 2013 - all used the "squish the squatters" (concentrated).  All had personal prizes acquired from the relentless tapping.

partial Christmas 2013, Valentine's Day 2014, Easter 2014 - all used a luck factor (boxes/wheels)

Stonecutters 2014 / Christmas 2014 - a task based event ('random' tasks completed for a new character's task list)

So TSTO does the same thing with reskinning the events.  But there are more differences with extra side features.  There was community prizes, different neighbor actions, and probably some other touches.

This is the fourth time around for this "Kingdom of Comic Halloween" styled event.  "Bomb the Squatters" "Bombard the final 'boss" and other ones I'm likely missing.  The format changes around in TSTO, and we've yet to see a major change to the FG events.

Yeah, it has become predictable.  Still, I like that we're getting 5 new skins and 3 new characters this event-- including Jesus Christ!  He's been on my wish list for characters in the game.  As long as I get all the skins and characters this event-- with the bonus clams-- I'll be happy.
