thats what i like about finishing events early you can rest up before next update if it wasn't for the support question i would of spent all my cookies and stop trying to earn them so ive been doing that Yep, the short break just gives me a chance to re-focus on things and wait for the next event/mini event to start Overall, i've really enjoyed this event. It's been very busy, but the last two were pretty much the same as well. This is good as a player because you can never get bored. The amount of premium currency that TinyCo give away is amazing, what it does is give freemium players a decent chance at building a pile of clams to buy something, unlike TSTO where it would probably take a year just to generate 100 free donuts. The buildings that they come up with are acxtually quite nice, and the animated ones are pretty cool. The quest lines are really funny, well written, and the animations that characters do are most enjoyable. Yes, some woudl say that their premium items are overpriced, and i agree with those people, even as a premium player, but i have a policy, i only buy the premium items IF i need them, meaning, say, the gingerbread mansion at 600 clams - will never spend that amount on a building. But, as we all say, you don't have to buy it, it's just there if you want it. If i was to rate this event, with the slight changes they made to the mechanics of the game, it's a 9/10 from me, point deducted because of the crashes, which i assume was possibly due to the animation of the snow and mist/fog effect. Most evjoyable indeed, can't wait for the next event to happen yea after new years im nuking and only keeping out buildings/decorations required for tasks unless they help with items or i like them i jusgt didn't like that there was only one way to get the crafting materials free while the other needed a premium

Most evjoyable indeed, can't wait for the next event to happen for me, i'd give it a 6/10. It just felt like everything is STILL the same. Use character to defeat the squaders, bomb a different squader, defeat a boss, etc, etc, etc. While the boss battle was done a little different (no item drops), it is still the same old formula. Still plagued with the same types of problems, whether it's item drops, or even the straight up quest line (giving a limited time challenge, but having that character have 2-3 active quests to do at the same time). While I managed to get everything done without any premium buildings, just always feels so draining from 4 hour quests all day everyday. Just saying they need a new formula to start switching things up. Something different, not the same thing being reskinned over and over. Also building skins should not be premium. They should be a prize.

And it has become quite tiresome being required to log into the game every 4 hours. At first it was nice after tapped out having a game keep me engaged but this has become overkill. I just wish there was some sort of happy medium.

I just wish there was some sort of happy medium. Now TSTO is copying the expectation to play every 4 hours or less. Really making me want to drop a game to free up some time. I liked the log in like twice/3 times a day events in TSTO - the early ones. Even Clash was like once a day.

Can we split the New Years stuff into a separate thread? I don't need to be reminded of that boring repetitive event called Christmas..

Its in the christmas section of the files and plus the squaters are prizes in the mystery box TinyCo doesn't run this forum tho.. You don't have to follow their files to define event boundaries. Just like District 10... It's not even officially unlocked yet..
