when you open the mystery box keep hitting retry. The first is free and 25 clams per box after. Here's the good part: once you have acquired all the prizes you can still win 35 or 50 clams. Just make sure to not close it. Once you do it's gone. Enjoy your free clams!

edit: use at your own discretion. After the whole thing with Tinyco removing clams from accounts you might just want to recoup the clams you spent on the box. That's what I did. But it's up to you.

Got forklift Peter on second box (first was free). Working on Lois, need 2 extra rares, and like 20 of the first common, and like 4 more turkey legs. One more muffin for Francine

For Francine, I need 2 Pink Dresses (will get today most probably), and 7 Muffins (I've decided to send Lois and Bonnie to get these instead of Turkey Legs).
For Fat Lois, I need 22 Stuffing, 11 Spiked Pumpkin Latte, 8 Turkey Legs, and 3 Pecan Pie.

Is it just me but the last few turkeys that I caught have given me in game cash and not stuffing! And I still need 25 stuffing for Lois. Have everything else for her. There is no way time wise to get all that stuffing on tasks alone. Damn you, tiny co!

It's was the same with the Bitch Brian and Stewie clones, once you get to a certain amount of items they drop, cash is dropped instead as an extra. The same happened with the CIA agents and now the turkeys. Personally, i hate it. It's not popular with other players either. With 40 stuffings needed, only one turkey released every 1.5hrs it's annoying to just get cash.

As for the Thanksgiving update, the mystery box, well, that's utter bullocks as far as i'm concerned. With millions of in game cash to use, they release it for clams (surprise surprise) and fill it with mostly crap (the clams being an exeption). Would rather have had to work my ass off for Forklift Truck Peter that gamble clams to get it. 

Been singing TinyCo's praises for the way they keep the game ticking over, all the content released etc, but i'm starting to get mightliy peeved off with them with this one

I spent 100 Clams to get Forklift Truck Peter - there seems to be a pattern here, because quite a lot of people have said they have only had three shots at getting him (the first being the free box, then two purchases afterwards)

In case you missed my post at the top of this page, if you have any prizes left in the mystery box go for them and keep hitting retry. Once you run out of prizes you can still win the 35 or 50 clams each time to recoup the clams you spent. Just make sure not to close it as it'll dissappear once you do. Of course that's if you want to.

Damn... Wish I had seen this first..... I thought I had to close it to collect the clams I won and it went away.... got 85 back tho... Will help buy lois once I get the rares and only have Commons left.

I tried to get as many clams out of it as possible... Got all but two of the prizes, then 35 clams, then the last two prizes (the barrel of tweets, then forklift Peter last), then got 35 clams two more times. But then the button disappeared... Couldn't rack up any more.

So I got all the prizes and didn't cost me a cent... Only used up a few of my free saved-up clams.

I spent 50 clams just then to get forklift peter. If I kept buying boxes, got the next two prizes, would I keep getting clams?
Edit:my little sister told me to just gamble it, and I did. I got the Mayor West's Barrel, then kept getting clams. I then got the wagon and couldn't try anymore. Got up to 142 clams, which is only 15 less than what I had before I decided to try get Forklift Peter! Woohoo! Just wish I read about this when I had the free go.

I tried this yesterday after I saw your post. They patched it so you can't keep rolling after you've cleared the box, but as it took me 11 spins total to clear the box, I managed to land on clams enough times to make the net cost 50 clams.
