I know i do, very very much
ive just had to rip part of my town apart to make some space, just a couple of rectangles, enough for three or four buildings, its ridiculous. i spent ages getting my Quahog just the way i wanted it and ive had to ruin it to make space.
id email tinyco but i doubt it woukd do any good

Yeah, I need more land, I've still got a few d9 things I can build (to do with mayor west, as I can start unlocking him in a bit, but I'll probably hold off on many things because of the event), I'm going to have to rearrange my town this weekend.

I definitely do, my storage is full of unused buildings and decorations.

Most of my stuff is in storage, so more land would be nice, but honestly, I've gotten used to having to store everything. Once I learned to roll with it and even embrace it, I stopped caring about the lack of land. It's better than TSTO, in which you have to keep out most of your buildings, even if they don't look good, or you'll lose characters / bonus %. Here, you can just store most things and not worry about it.
It's also nice that nobody's town looks the same, and you are pushed to change things up frequently. On TSTO, towns remain stagnant and change little with each update. Here, I get to work on my town basically every week. It is truly a town-building experience, rather than a one-and-done thing.
Something that will hopefully help a bit with transitioning to Halloween is that during Comic-Con, I set up a designated event district in front of the default event area. Should make it easier to substitute buildings/decos that fit with the Halloween area without having to re-design everything else in my town.

As with Mop, I put the majority of my town in storage, cleared it all up so that I'd have loads of space, and moved all my non-event buildings off to the periphery of my town. Pretty much all of my non-essential District 9 stuff is in storage, anything that is not, is packed together within District 9's original plots of land.
Tis one of the only things that wrecks my head in this game - not being given the time to rationalise my space, to trim down, make it my own, and prepare for whats to come in future events etc. Since the Egyptian event, its just been relentless, no breaks in the grind, just constant hard slog. Its made me more ruthless with the game though I suppose - I don't care 1 bit about having most of my town in storage, at least I have some open spaces in the town now!

With the Moon Idol/King Butt event, the items i do have from then, are all in my inventory and won't be coming out anytime soon (they don't fit in with my town at all, they just look out of place), there are quite a few Comic Con items that are in my inventory as well, the only two items that will probably never come out of there are the two Stewie statues which just look terrible when placed anywhere. Everything else i will try and bring back once they free up more land. As i said in my first post, i hated the fact i've had to destroy part of my carefully, and time consumingly designed town just to try and fit in any new stuff. I've had a small gap open up with the disappearance of the Fragrance Factory (thanks TinyCo, i loved that building, not letting us keep it really pissed me off big time). Land is much needed though, and there are a lot of FB posts to TinyCo about this too. Question is, will they listen?

I hate losing out on potential tasks - I can never manage to bring up a building's task list, unless I just don't know what I'm doing. I get it on occasion, but never sure why it happens, especially how. There's a lot of neat buildings and it's always hard to cut out some. I know I should probably store the full moon stuff, but I like it. I merged my comic con stuff with my circus stuff to create a massive entertainment area and I love that part of my town. I also love my Asiatown near the landing zone/event district. So not sure where my Halloween stuff will fit in over time. I still have the massive Channel 5 news and Mayor West's mansion to find a place for (along with Vinny's crib). There's just very little space.

That's what I also did. Before, all my building were dropped anywhere I had room, facing all different directions with no order whatsoever. It was one great big silly mess. . I threw most of my buildings into storage...bringing them out one by one as I placed them, after redesigning my streets. Now my town is much more organized and pleasant to look at.

Carter I know if you drag a character to a building it will show you if that character has any tasks there, but I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about. It would be very time consuming to do that for every character with every building. I like the entertainment district idea. I didn't buy any of the premium circus stuff, but I have a small one set up with the carousel, zoo and other things that I thought fit in with a little theme park area. Toward the end of the Comic Con event, I did a full redesign of my town. I put all the decos in storage and moved all my buildings to one corner. It took a couple days to put it all back together the way I wanted it. Now it's a complete and utter disaster again.

I could but I think they need to make the editing better like when you drag a building it's so annoying it you tap the screen by mistake it exits the edit menu

Sort of, but I thought I saw a listing for like the library and showed a few different tasks. Unless it was like Brian or Herbert I dragged on it. Wish someone would put a list together for this, I would but I don't have tons of space and it's hard to tell as I'm not sure if the tasks would vanish or be locked.

Kinda like a safe to store list. Though ultimately, it would be best if the FGTQFS wiki were developed to the same level as the TSTO one, so we can find information like this quickly. That said, I mostly just do 1h, 4h, and 8h tasks, so I usually don't mind it when a task falls off due to storing something. Don't know if this helps any, but in case you have any of these things out and were thinking about storing them, I'm sure that these are safe to store: - All Egyptian buildings and decos (incl King Butt's throne)
- Almost all premium buildings that were used for generating materials (e.g., copy center, screening theater, old timey book store, all egyptian ones, kool aid beach volleyball court, blimp hangar, etc.); lots of these are big land hogs. Only exception I can think of is the ring of fire and stripper bonnie's pole (though this didn't generate materials). But generally, if it's premium, you can store it.
- Practically all event decos. Only exceptions I can think of: ethereal larping forest, fart of the covenant, kool aid skate park (though it's huge, so i stored it anyway)
- Land hogs:
- Anal Point
- Tiny Tots Preschool (pretty sure, though recently took it out of storage for milk bottles)
- Seven Flags Atlantis
- Stars and Skates (I think all its tasks went away after July 4th, but not positive--just stored it again)
- Wheelchair Skate Park
- Hoverboard Skate Park
- George Takei Fencing Center (I think--I just put this one back in storage)
- Fillion's Maid Service
- S&M & More
- Nothing Suspicious Here Factory
- Rock-it Playground
- Le Croissant, Fire Station, and Swimming Pool might be safe, but I haven't tried storing them in awhile b/c I like them
- Misc:
- Deep Fried Everything
- Awful Person Hattery (pretty sure, though I took it out awhile ago)
- All of the dry brush gardens
- Herbert's Ice Cream Truck
- Used clothing store
- Lincoln Memorial
- Small Playground
- Gay Pride Float
- Cable TV Antenna
- Carousel
- Most other decos
Just a very partial list based on what I see in my inventory, in case it helps any.
