Just curious how often everyone visits neighbors. The neighboring aspect of this game is quite different than TSTO. Here, visiting doesn't take long, you can have as many neighbors as you'd like, and the incentive is to earn yourself an occasional clam and a little bit of cash; otherwise, your visit doesn't really affect neighbors. It's kinda nice and less burdensome, IMO. I was visiting daily for awhile because it doesn't take very long, but I quit during Comic-Con because visits got crashier than usual. Lately, I've gotten back to visiting most days. I must say, a good number of my neighbors are really putting some excellent work into re-designing their towns. Too bad things will start getting messy again in a week.

:PMessy already Mo! The town you saw in my screenshots thread has been bombed, most of the buildings are in storage or moved around to accommodate new stuff!
But either way, I've no neighbours besides Ollytown, so I don't bother most of the time

I visit friends daily. I enjoy seeing their creativity and it can help inspire me when I get stuck. Plus like you said it hardly takes any time at all.

I have always visited daily... Even now, when it crashes half the time. I even go and re-visit if it craps out and doesn't save the visit. All for the hope of a Clam I used to have 42 friends... Mostly random Russians on Facebook who added me when the game started. A lot of them stopped playing, so I've pared it down to 27 or so now. Some are real-life friends, who have also stopped playing... Sadly, I can't remove them!

Perhaps Russia was a beta test site? I also have many Russian neighbors, and many of them are still active with nice towns. It's tough to unfriend the inactive ones, though, because their names are in Cyrillic and can't simply be searched for.

I'll visit occasionally to see how my friends towns look but besides that and the clam every 5 days there's no benefit for it plus you can only visit 20 at a time before you have to wait 9+ hours to visit the rest. I don't have any neighbours besides Ollieland as i refuse to link it to my personal Facebook - i hope TinyCo will introduce a friends system similar to TSTO soon, i need neighbours in my game, Ollieland never changes, it's so boooooooooooooooooring to look at I made a fake Facebook just for this game

I was daily, but now it's possibly once a week. What changed: Crash Town. I'll visit Ollie land sometimes it will drop cash, sometimes nothing happens when clicking the check mark. Then I'll go to the next town, it may or may not drop coins/clam depends on what Ollieland did and do the opposite. I'll hit another neighbor or two and it will crash. Log back into the game says I didn't visit a single neighbor. So I will start over sometimes. Ollieland may or may not drop this time around either. Typically if Ollieland fails to drop coins I get the crash at some point either halfway through my neighbors (6) or towards the last few. If Ollieland is successful, then the first neighbor doesn't drop. As long as I get out quickly the next neighbor will drop coins and usually okay to finish visits. Since it's so spotty on whether it works or not, most days I don't bother to try. Thankfully there's no benefit for the neighbor that I visited, but I do miss out on my clams

I have IOS and there's a huge friend bug on there that I described above.
