I must be the first one to find this as I haven't seen anyone mention this. When you are questing for Tom Tucker, you are given the option to purchase a Mystery Box for Tom Tucker.
30 clams will get you (1 of the following per try):
1 Satellite
2 Satellites
3 Satellites
1 Mustache Cream
2 Mustache Creams
3 Mustache Creams
3 Action Slates
5 Action Slates
3 Microphones
5 Microphones
Pawtucket Ale Truck
Though not listed under "prizes", the Criptron is listed as "rare" - it also says "No duplicate decos".
After I knock out the Mustache Creams and Action Slates, I was planning to buy a few boxes to see what else is there. I won't have an issue with those 2 items as I have the Trailer and News Vans.

Perhaps thats an iOS only thing for the moment? I've had Quahog News 5 unlocked for most of the day now, even have a few of the items that Tucker needs, but have not seen any such Mystery Box...
Or do you mean you are on Tom Tucker's quests, and have unlocked him? 30 Clams is a lot to fork out for a chance at a couple of the above items. Would want to have a lot more stuff like the Crippletron in it to entice me to give over clams. I hope you get a Crippletron though, or 4!

I finished the repair work this AM, noticed about a few hours ago when resetting tasks. It's in the build menu at the beginning, I think either the deco one or the buildings one. Second, you'd only be able to win one Crippletron as it says no repeats on the decos. Since the items have limits of collection, they will be removed from the mystery box revealing the decos inside. The advertisement shows Crippletron and "rare", but by clicking the prize button, it is not inside. |

As you suggested, I have looked in my build menu - its there! I see the Crippletron too, in the description where it lists the Moustache Cream, Action Slates and Crippletron(rare). But I also see it inside, when I look at the complete list of contents - Between the 5 Microphones! prize, and the Peterang. I hope its not another Android/iOS bug. Heres a screenshot:  |

I'd give it a try, but I've already won Peter's pirate car which is sitting with all my Comicon cars in my car show area. I know I'll end up "winning" a second one that I don't need much less want. If they did it like the thing they just had in TSTO where you couldn't win something you already had, I'd try it. But, 6 yachts later I'm kind of irked.

For those of you who haven't unlocked Tom Tucker yet, there's a way to get every premium item from the mystery box for 30 clams apiece. All you do is wait until you have 1 or 2 items left and then start playing the mystery box. Since the items disappear from the box once you have them you should only have 1 batch of items left. Once you win the final items you need, every time you play you're guaranteed a premium. Just make sure to not close the box until you have all you want from it as it will disappear once you do. Sorry if this has been posted before, I haven't been very active lately.

I might do this when I on!y have a few of one material left to get. Including the buy for the material, it would be 300 clams for premium deco worth 2,790 clams. Only downside is is that I have Peter's Pirate Care and the Ale Truck.

Prices of these decorations are priced as a con, the con being like supermarket offers being double the price so they can say look half price/ buy one get one free etc. Same with the decorations, they are priced high so you think your getting a bargain in a mystery box for 30 clams. I mean who is gonna pay 1000 clams for a golden peter statue, or 750 for a crippletron? Just wait till the next mystery box!

I remember the sale they had some time back on some 500-clam decoration for only 150 clams. I feel like you have to be on guard at all times with this game. I, too, waited until I only have a few remaining stuff needed to unlock Tom; spent about 300 clams to win all the premium prizes and the remaining stuff to unlock Tom. Glad I didn't waste clams buying his overpriced trailer. Finally got the Crippletron in my town! And I'm picking up Transformers: Age of Extinction 3D on Blu today!

It's a cool looking decoration but I think it would of been awesome if if instead we had gotten big petes house of munch and the actual crippletron for this

Just did this, spent 300 clams on it, got Crippletron quite early on, only downside was was that I already had pirate car and ale truck, but it doesn't bother me too much. Really need go reorganise my town, might do it at the weekend.
