Halloween event update thread

It's nice to see they made Peter & Jerome's 2hr ethnic handshake task earn 25 spirit vials & 15 fright points. That's the best earner by far. I just hope Peter isn't tied up with quests throughout the whole event so that we can take advantage.

I've got 9/12 for the challenge. I'll be able to finish it at about 8pm GMT, as I've got school. One will complete during that time, then I have to do 2 tonight.

Yep. I think its 2 or three devil dog spawns and then a bunch of ghosts. Haven't actually gone and paid attention to it though yet, so cannot say that with any degree of surity

I get way too many dogs so there's no chance I can use this task.  The higher the spirit level, the more dogs you get.  I think mine spawn around 3 hours or so, so after I defeat one there's always more of them.  That's the only task Peter has been doing this weekend.

I get way too many dogs so there's no chance I can use this task.  The higher the spirit level, the more dogs you get.  I think mine spawn around 3 hours or so, so after I defeat one there's always more of them.  That's the only task Peter has been doing this weekend.

Yeah that's all I have Peter doing is zapping dogs but I'm going to stop as soon as I gather enough dog bones for Diane Simmons and just let them wander around. Peter & Jerome's task is much more profitable at this point and I would imagine that when we get the other ghostbusters they'll be able to zap the dogs as well. Plus as the portal upgrades we'll have more types of ghosts to deal with.

I know there has to be a max squatters type of thing, so I didn't want to miss out on normal ghosts or when the next creature is set to be released.  I don't know what that limit is, but I'm sure there is one.  We've had limits for the clowns, mummies, nerds - so I'm sure there's one for ghosts and terror dogs.

I didn't hear about more content at level 10 - I know we'll get more content in a few days when the portal is upgraded.  There will likely be a new ghostbuster costume for one of the gang, a new grave to dig up and a new squatter from the new upgraded portal.  Probably to be done in the same order.

Bit of a misunderstanding there I think Dazzler - it says "Increase your fright level To unlock more dead stuff" - after each level increase your devil dog/ghost respawn rate increases, also as your fright level increases, you gain access to portal upgrades and other such stuff, thus unlocking more creatures and most likely more stuff to buy from the event store, hence "more dead stuff" for more fright levels.

They have a 1 in your screenshot, to compare the T to, just for clarification - here, I've highlighted them:

Yup.... I had just noticed my mistake when playing on my tablet rather than my phone.

Still, at what level do we think more 'stuff' will be realeased??? Don't know whether to keep pushing the fright points buying up the current items or hang on for a while... I can confirm no new shit at level 5.

How do you see this panning out? Next week will spawn a new portal monster which will require us to create a new Ghostbuster to battle for jars of potions to create some stuff......just currently doesn't seem like a lot of content for TinyCo, they do usually like to release a lot of content

Out of curiosity, why do you say that?  Peter has a Ghostbuster's suit, the Ghostbuster's building, Slimer is floating around every 8 hours dropping goods and Diane.  And that is just seemingly the beginning.

I'm only a few fright points behind you too, there won't be any new stuff until we can upgrade the portal (2days 23hours from now, or so).

We needed only fright level 2 to unlock the portal though, so I'm sure we'll be high level enough for all new content that they release when they release it. No harm in stockpiling spirit vials and levelling up while you can, I don't think theres any harm in over-preparedness or that its possible to push too far ahead in the levels in any of these events, theres always some use for extra tokens/points.

Don't know if anyone has seen this yet but... I just looked in the store and under the event items, they have now added JOE with a ghostbusters costume. Cool
