All the information provided so far is awesome, so thanks guys. So are there tasks I can put characters on before the update to get items straight away? Or are the tasks Bonnie, quagmire etc. do new ones? Best bet would probably to set Peter, Quagmire, Bonnie, Chris, Bruce, Jerome on their 24 hour tasks - but to make sure they are ready to clear when your update goes live next week. You can't get items until The Clam building is rebuilt (4 hours) so nothing would help there. Quagmire has the first task for 4 hours - but if you have some income of the currency, then you should be able to start the repair quickly. All of the other characters do not generate currency and so far not needed for item generation. Bonnie you can send to twerk it when you repair the first building, but make sure you clear the repair before her task. She might drop a pizza. Same with Bruce Fretting about something. That's probably the easiest way to start out I'd imagine. Since your update is on the 31st, it's likely early morning like ours, so have the 24s ready to go when you wake up or depending on the time zone you are located when the events go live. Ours hit at 2:30 AM PDT or so, so whatever time that is for your time zone, have the 24s ready to be cleared around that time. |

Chutes and Lads is an absolute steal for 25 clams. I am loving this update!!  Buncha Tools is also 25 clams! I decided to get both, might as well at a price like that. Yeah me too. Funny though that the sign on The Buncha Tools building just says Hardware though. Oh well, for 25 clams still worth it. |

Buncha Tools is also 25 clams! I decided to get both, might as well at a price like that. Do the buildings drop the stuff for Captain Hammered even before the quest to unlock the skin shows up? If so, I'll get them as well to give me a head start. Unfortunately not. |

They have the labels of items that they will drop, but I'm not at the that point for those items. In the build menu, a few items say that it wasn't added yet (characters/skin buildings) and check back later. |

The Quest after Quagmire's initial one is to build a new building (500 event currency). I had started the repair of the second building Q first, since 1) it will generate items 2) the quest for it came first.
So seems like when you get the currency, you have to spend it. Plus side is that completing a quest gives 100 event currency.

I didn't research at all, but seeing as it did that to the clam building, I imagine that one will too. Maybe this new place will as well, who knows. On an unrelated note, I thought that Jerome/Peter would be a good combo, but it's not. It gives 8 Blams!, but that is both of them doing hourly tasks. So unless 2 hours are better, probably easier. I'm thinking that Peter/Mort's 6 hour is probably Peter's best one, since Mort doesn't earn any Blam!. |
