How man levels are there to a character to be maxed out? The highest level character I have is 13 just wondering how much more

Level 15 is the highest most characters can go with exception of Consuela who only levels up to 14 and Peter's max level is 20 I think (Not 100% sure on Peter).

Don't quite understand the rationale behind the level system. I know each level unlocks new actions etc, but after a certain level, the level-up screens aren't updated and all just look and feel the same. The same goes for player level... don't understand what its for. There are no prizes or incentives earned and from level 30 onwards, each level-up screen is same :/

There's no difference in level 10 or level 40. The character levels are understandable as new tasks and FaceSpace posts unlock... but a lot of the levels don't even unlock anything.
