Firstly, You're going to stop buying clams because TinyCo have fixed a glitch on their own game? Sounds quite lame imo..Secondly, how do you know that they are just grabbing money..? The money they receive will go to employees, developing the game to make it more ENJOYABLE for the users. Also keeping in mind that they are a business therefore they need to generate a profit in someway. That's basically like walking into a shop and saying "I'm not buying that because you're making profit off it"... I thought that his post was in reference to mine above it.. After sending meg on eating hot dogs for fun I wanted to try something so I sped what was left for 9 clams, I was then given the option as a pb and j didnt drop to TRY again for 16 clams, or to simply buy a pb and j for 15 clams. You would think that the chance attempt would cost less than purchasing the item outright.. Hence the money grab aspect.. Bad enough only way to get that option is to rush a character on a task which already costs clams.. Exactly, I was referring you your post.

The advantage of them is more of a chance of getting those extra-rare items.. 33% is equivalent to roughly 1/3, so you're going to get a drop every 3 times pretty much, or more if you're lucky Yes we all know that, but if you pay real cash for those buildings which are premium buildings, (sorry if i am being repetitive, english is not my first language) those buildings should be instant build, thus not requiring a worker and not to wait 12 or 16 hour for them to build. I agree. Premium buildings should be instant build. I don't see TinyCo's logic in charging clams for premium buildings AND having to wait for it to be built.

While I agree that the game comes off as money-grubbing and Tinyco squandered a lot of goodwill during the last event, I am pretty sure the non-instant build time for some of the new premium buildings is an oversight. They want your clams. If someone sends them a note, I bet they will fix it.

I have already thought of a way to get this working again possibly, but other aspects need to fall into place.. I'm not 100% sure if it will work but I have no idea to know yet.. Although I doubt we will ever have the ability that I need to test this.. On a related subject about cash grab... See the photo a posted.. After speeding up Meg you get the option to 'try again' (not guaranteed) for 16 clams to get a pb and j (I'm guessing it's like a condensed version of setting task then speeding up), or to buy one for 15 clams? So how does this make sense? Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Basically it's 16 clams to speed up any 8 hour task I believe, and rare items can be purchased for 15 clams. Don't get the confusion. If there was no item dropping you'd still have to pay 16 clams to speed the task up. It's like speeding up a 20 hr task for a common item will cost far more than the item itself

Like who in their right mind would pick the more expensive option and have a chance at not getting an item? Obviously anyone faced with that screen is going to choose to automatically get an item if they were to choose an option and not just exit it...and why wouldn't this screen pop up when you don't use clams to speed up the person? Spend clams for the option to spend more clams..
