Since this game connects to gamecenter, I don't understand why we couldn't just use that instead of facebook.

Here's a post from another thread on here I was reading in the help area of the game searching about FB friends and they quoted that they are working on alternative for adding friends as not everyone has a Facebook account. So that's good news!!!!! Hopefully it's soon |

Is this friends thing working I go to send invites to you lot that I have added but it says I have no friends and that the facebook friends feature has been removed

If I had to choose, I'd choose facebook over Game center, because I can create a fake account. Game center is linked to your credit card and real name and there is nothing you can do about it. I think the only option with any semblance of privacy is to make a fake Facebook. I have one from about a year ago when a different game had no concept that people might not want to give out their real names, photos, educational and work histories, names of all their friends, what they're thinking right now, etc. to random people on the Internet just to get some in-game currency.
